Be Amazing with DJ Hero
For many, exactly what a DJ does up in that DJ booth at the club is a mystery. But now you can find out with DJ Hero, the latest in the never-ending line of Hero games from Activision. Because this is a new type of music game, there's a lot to explain, but let's get this out of the way first: DJ Hero is fantastic. It's one of the best games I've played this year and one of the best music games I've ever played.

DJ Tiesto legendary performance
Highly regarded by both DJ Magazine and ultra-loyal fans, DJ Tiësto, due in part to his legendary six-hour, energetic live sets, has been elevated to mythical status as one of the world's foremost trance DJs. A native of Breda, Netherlands (born Tijs Verwest on January 17, 1969), Tiësto first starting playing out at a well-known club. Highly regarded by both DJ Magazine and ultra-loyal fans.
Erykah Badu
Erykah Badu has embarked on one of the more ambitious projects in recent R&B history: This year, she'll release New AmErykah, a series of at least two, possibly three, albums tackling socio-political issues like poverty and 9/11, drawing on musical styles from the Forties through the Sixties, and promising, she says, to "talk for my race and my planet." Badu kicks off the first disc by indulging her arty side: 4th World War is mostly dark.

U2 Pasadena DVD Coming Soon
Look for U2 to make an announcement soon that a DVD of last year's U2 360 concert in Pasadena is on the way. There's a web page setup now at livedvd.u2.com with this message: U2 will release a DVD of the Pasadena Rose Bowl concert in 2010. The band are still working on the exact content of the DVD, but if you register here you can be the first to hear about an exclusive format.
Green Day Kerrang! Magazine
In this week’s Kerrang! magazine, Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong reveals that the punk heroes have already started work on the follow-up to last year’s 21st Century Breakdown. Despite making fans wait five years in between 2004’s American Idiot and 21st Century Breakdown, Armstrong promises that the as-yet-untitled follow-up will be completed sooner rather than later.
